The Community Is Our Client, Too
In the wake of the September 11th attacks, we helped to create Trial Lawyers Care, the largest pro bono project in the history of the United States. The group provided legal services – equivalent to several million dollars – to the families of those killed, helping them navigate the government’s compensation fund and receive an optimal recovery. Our firm personally represented two families and we held a seat on the board of Trial Lawyers Care. In all, some 1,500 families were assisted.
